가사의 내용도 부분적으로 원곡과는 다른 경우가 있습니다.

 

 

노래에 나오는 여러 이야기는 성경에서 따온 것입니다.

다윗이 연주했다는 비밀스러운 화음 이야기는 다윗과 사울왕의 이야기,

목욕하는 여인을 옥상에서 본 이야기는 다윗왕과 밧세바에 관한 이야기이고,

머리카락을 잘랐다는 이야기는 삼손과 데릴라, 등등
