UK 차트에서 엘보우의 디스코그래피 사상 최고의 순위를 기록한 앨범.

 

주로 기타/베이스/드럼/보컬 위주의 기본적인 락 사운드만을 중심으로 음악을 꾸려나가던

전작들과는 달리, 이번 새 앨범에서는 이전에 사용하지 않았던 새로운 악기들(주로 관현악기들)과

이펙트들을 과감하게 사용하여 차별화를 시도함에 따라 노래가 전하고자 하는 메시지에 더욱

힘을 실어주는 성공적인 변화를 이루어냈다. 

 

'Grounds For Divorce'에 이어 새로 싱글커트 된 'one Day Like This'에서 그러한 새로운

시도의 진면모가 유감없이 드러난다. 곡 전체를 감싸는 오케스트라의 아름다운 선율과

어우러지는 가이 가비(보컬)의 목소리는 밴드 초기부터 가장 큰 특징으로 꼽혀오던 특유의
