프랑스태생으로 데뷔앨범 타이틀곡.이미 구라파 전역에서는 크게 히트
하고있는데 국내에서도 <서울음반>에서 발매하여 좋은 반응을 얻었죠.
WORDS라는 타이틀의 곡은 지금까지도 꾸준히 애창되고 있는 비지스의 
60년대 빅 히트곡이 있고 지금은 해산된 전설의 그룹 몽키스(Monkees)
의 히트곡이 있습니다. 
이 곡은 친구의 스튜디오에서 1982년 완성한 앨범 "The Words"위
타이틀 곡으로 영국에서 2위, 서독에서 10주간 1위, 이태리에서 1위,
호주,벨기에, 네덜란드,덴마크, 폴투칼,아프리카 등지에서 대단한
인기를 얻었고 한국에서도 한때 1위를 했던 곡입니다. 

간단하면서 쉽게 기억할 수 있는 가사와 부드럽고 서정성 넘치는
음성과 신디사이저의 음률이 조화를 이룬 것이 인기 비결인데 이 곡은
F.R.David가 사랑하는 여인을 위해 고심하며 글을 쓰는데 사랑이라는
표현을 어떻게해야 할지 가사가 잘 떠오르지 않는다는 내용인데
한마디로 386세대에게 맞는 곡입니다.
우리나라에서 알려진 곡은 베스트곡으로
