헤비메탈과 일렉트릭 기타에 지대한 파급력을 행사하며

전설로 군림해왔던 리치 블랙모어가 그의 사랑스러운

피앙세이자 보컬리스트인 캔디스 나이트와

1990년대 중반 새롭게 결성한 밴드이다.

 

블랙모어스 나이트는 1998년 데뷔작 [Shadow Of The Moon],

1999년 두 번째 앨범 [Under A Violet Moon]에서 캔디스 나이트의

청아한 소프라노와 리치 블랙모어의 영롱하고 맑은

기타 소리는 서정적이고 신비스럽다.

 

블랙모어스 나이트는 과거 독선적이고 권위적인 성격 때문에

많은 멤버교체를 겪었고 이리저리 떠도는 방랑자 생활을 했던

블랙모어이기에, 꾸준한 블랙모어 나이트의 활동은 정말 이례적이다.
