로 이루어진 전설적인 밴드이다. 1972년 `Take it easy`로 데뷔한

이들은 락과 컨트리 음악이 조화된 사운드로 주목을 받아오다가, 

1976년 발표한 앨범이 지금까지 2900만장이 팔려 미국 팝 역사상

단일 앨범 최다 판매량 기록을 보유하게 되었습니다.

 

1982년 잠시 해산을 선언하기도 하지만, 1994년 앨범을 발표하며

투어공연 위주의 활동을 해오던 이글스는 프로듀서 Bill Szymczyk와

6년간 앨범 작업을 한 끝에 새 앨범을 발표했습니다.

 

이글스는 1998년 로큰롤 명예의 전당에 헌액되었으며, 

Hotel California, Desperado, I can`t tell you why, 

New kid in town, Sad cafe 등의 명곡을 남겼습니다..

 

이 곡은 '76년 [Hotel California]의 첫번째 히트 싱글입니다

이 곡까지 이글즈의 초기작품과 대동소이하지만 이후의 히트곡

"Hotel California", " Life in the Fast Lane" 에서는 

조 월쉬의 탁월한 리드기타가  돋보입니다...
